What's a good Vol-biv EN-C glider in 2026?
I can’t identify a catalogued EN-C wing explicitly recorded as vol-biv suitable; the supplied gear shortlist records certification and specifications, but specifications do not establish pilot suitability or vol-biv design intent [1][2][3][4].
- The Advance TAU DLS is a 2026 EN-C sports paraglider with standard construction; recorded sizes include 19 (4.0 kg, GBP 5315, 60–76 kg all-up) and 27 (5.4 kg, GBP 5315, 105–127 kg all-up) [2]. Its record does not state vol-biv suitability.
- The Advance SIGMA 12 DLS is a 2024 EN-C sports wing with standard construction; size 20 is recorded at 3.7 kg, GBP 5155, 57–75 kg all-up [1]. It is not recorded as vol-biv specific.
- The AirDesign Ronin is an EN-C single-surface wing, with recorded sizes 12 (1.03 kg, 55–68 kg) and 14 (1.16 kg, 60–75 kg) [3]; the SuSi XPed is an EN-C ultralight mini wing in sizes 16 and 18 [4]. Neither record supports calling them vol-biv EN-C sports wings.
Captions mention EN-C two-liners including the Gin Bonanza 3, Skywalk Mint and Phi Scala 2 Light, but not vol-biv use [5][6][7]. Please share your all-up flying weight and goals, and confirm size/load range and harness/reserve compatibility with Flybubble or a qualified instructor.

but in a good way, that's still giving good feedback. And that also makes it really good for kiting. You can put the glider off to one side, drop it back, use a bit of brake to move the glider about in the wind window [quite easily]. If you want to kite the glider back up the hill, or say you pull the glider up for a launch and you pull it up at a bit skew, when a gust comes through, and you need to step under the glider and correct it, it's very easy to sort. I just want mention, when I'm talking about the level of the wing, I put it as a Mid C glider. So when I say "easy", I'm talking about for the 'target pilot group' of "sports class" pilots, who are looking to fly an EN C sports class wing. So that's what I'm aiming at with the pilot demands.
- [6] Based On X-ALPS Wing - SKYWALK MINT Paraglider Review (Comparing With Other EN C 2 Liners)
Compared to most gliders I was flying with, I felt like I had an advantage over them, but compared to the other EN-C 2 Liners like the Bonanza 3, and I was flying quite a bit with a very good pilot on an Artik R and also another very good pilot flying a Zeno 2. I felt like the MINT has at least as good, well, has as good a climb and sink rate as those gliders and hold its own very well with those gliders, which is great. Speaking of glide, first of all, let's start at trim. So the glide seems really, really good gliding next to other pilots on standard three liners. I consistently felt like I had an advantage over them, seemed to be gliding really well. With the other EN-C 2 liners, it seemed to be on the par with them.

together, then the glider started to feel a little bit more like it was kind of a little bit on edge, but still very solid. The one thing I can say for sure is that the performance feels very very good. Um a definite improvement on its predecessor, the Scala Light, and I'd say it's definitely right at the top of the EN-C two liner class and the EN-C class generally. I think the combination of its very good climb rate and very good thermaling ability and also excellent glide and [music] very good speed and very good speed at glide are going to make the Scala 2 Light a very competitive glider in the hike and fly uh hike and fly races and general for general cross country flying. So, having a descent technique, a nice simple
